The past two months have taken us on tour from Montana to Minnesota to Florida! It has been an exciting whirlwind of shows and travel. We started September with a trip to Saskatoon for the Canadian Country Music Awards (click here to read all about it!), followed by a 20-date tour of Montana and a headline performance at Panama City’s Gulf Coast Bluegrass & Folk Music Festival.
To top it all off, our parents flew to Florida to meet us, so we got to dip our toes in the tropical water and enjoy a family vacay on Panama City Beach! We have just returned back to Nashville and are feeling very grateful as we reminisce about all of the fun times we have had on our fall tour.
Montana is such a beautiful place, and we are so thrilled that this was only our first of two tours in the Big Sky State over the next year (we’ll be back in April 2018!) In addition to the evening shows, we played 12 school shows for students from K-12. It was amazing to meet so many awesome young people from across the state and hear them singing and clapping along with our music.
It was an honour to be invited to perform at the Gulf Coast Bluegrass & Folk Music Festival for the second year in a row. We had a blast performing at this incredible event that raises money for the Boys & Girls Clubs of Bay County. A great festival and the chance for some quality family time in the sun... is there really any better way to round out a tour? We certainly can't think of one!
To all of the amazing presenters who hosted us for shows during our fall tour – thank you for having us and making us feel so at home! Special thanks to the incredible audiences – we loved meeting each and every one of you and cannot wait to be back in your towns!
