Are you ready to share the stage with these hometown girls? Here’s your chance to shine and open for us, Twin Kennedy at the Evergreen Theatre!

These Powell River twins are returning to our roots for our special “Homebound” show on August 15th, and we’re thrilled to offer a local musician the opportunity of a lifetime. You could be the one to set the stage for our performance! 

What You Win:

• Opening Act Slot: Perform two songs at the Evergreen Theatre before Twin Kennedy takes the stage.

How to Enter:

1. Submit Your Music: Send a video of your best live performance to info@twinkennedy.com with the subject line POWELL RIVER CONTEST by July 26th. All styles of music are welcome. Selections will not be judged on video quality - an iPhone video is great!

2. Provide a Short Bio: Tell us about yourself, your musical journey, and why you want to open for Twin Kennedy. Please include your contact name, phone number and email.

3. Follow Us: Make sure you’re following @twinkennedy for updates and announcements.

The winner will be notified by August 1st and a Facebook and or Instagram live interview will be set up with Twin Kennedy between August 1st and 10th based on availability.

Contest Terms and Conditions

Terms and Conditions for Contest to Open for Twin Kennedy

1. Eligibility

• The contest is open to individuals and bands of all genres.

• All participants must be available for the performance at the Evergreen Theatre in Powell River, BC, on August 15th.

• Participants must be available for an online interview between August 1st and 10th.

• Participants must be of legal age in their jurisdiction or have written approval from a parent or legal guardian.

2. Submission Requirements

• Submissions must be made via the official contest entry platform - email info@twinkennedy.com with subject line POWELL RIVER CONTEST.

• All entries must include a performance video or audio recording, along with a brief bio and contact information.

• The submission period closes at 11:59 PM (Pacific Time) on July 26th.

• Incomplete submissions or those not adhering to the guidelines will not be considered.

3. Selection Process

• The selection of the opening act will be at the sole discretion of Twin Kennedy and their team.

• The contest does not guarantee that an opening act will be selected.

• All decisions made by Twin Kennedy and their team regarding the selection process are final and binding.

4. Performance Conditions

• The chosen act must arrive at the Evergreen Theatre on August 15th at the specified time for soundcheck and performance preparation.

• Twin Kennedy and their team will provide all necessary technical setup for the performance, including sound and lighting, at their discretion.

• The chosen act must comply with all instructions and guidelines provided by Twin Kennedy's team regarding the performance.

5. Liability and Conduct

• Twin Kennedy and their team will not accept any liability for the performer, their equipment, or their guests.

• Participants are responsible for their own transportation, accommodations, and any other expenses related to their performance.

• Participants and their guests must conduct themselves in a respectful and professional manner at all times. Failure to do so may result in disqualification and removal from the venue.

6. Media and Promotion

• By entering the contest, participants grant Twin Kennedy and their team the right to use their name, likeness, performance video, and audio recordings for promotional purposes in connection with the contest.

• Participants agree to participate in the online interview as part of the promotion for the event.

7. General Conditions

• Twin Kennedy reserves the right to modify or cancel the contest at any time without prior notice.

• By entering the contest, participants agree to comply with these Terms and Conditions.

• Any violation of these Terms and Conditions may result in disqualification from the contest.
